The players have been joined by Somerset Director of Cricket Matthew Maynard to assist in honing their skills ahead of the ICC 2015 Cricket World Cup in February and March.
The Dubai trip follows Scotland’s recent tour of Australia and New Zealand to acclimatise to the conditions they will face during the World Cup.
It will be a chance for the squad to build on the work already undertaken ‘down under’ at some of the best cricket facilities available.
Before leaving for Dubai on Sunday (November 9), Scotland Head Coach Grant Bradburn said: “The Dubai batting camp will be another excellent opportunity for our players to keep developing skills and experience to equip them to perform on the international stage.
“With a focus on batting for this camp, we have designed an intense programme of game scenarios to simulate the match pressures our players will be under on the international stage. Dubai also provides us more time together as a group which is precious for us in being able to cement roles, game plans and simply to allow the excellent culture in the group to gather strength.”
