Controversial England batsman Kevin Pietersen may not be playing in the Ashes this summer, but he is coming to Somerset.
The Ashes legend will take part in a special masterclass at the Princess Royal Sports Centre at Wellington School on Friday 5 June.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a world-class player and is open to boys and girls from all local schools and clubs.
Chidlren from years 5, 6, 7 and 8 will be able to take part between 9-10.30am, while youngsters from years 9, 10, 11 and sixth form can join in between 11-12.30pm.
A donation of £45 will be required for these sessions which will all go to the Kevin Pietersen Foundation – KP24. Anyone who donates more than £65 will go into a draw to win the bat Kevin uses on the day.
Places are strictly limited on each session, so book now to avoid disappointment.
The KP24 Foundation aims to support underprivileged children around the globe to have a better chance in sport and life.
Head of Cricket at Wellington School, former Somerset cricketer Steffan Jones said: “It is a fantastic initiative and one which Wellington School is proud to be supporting.”
